Dear Members,

Although Christmas isn’t a traditional Chinese festival, many of us celebrate this festive occasion. Christmas is a time where we come together with our family and friends.

I want to use this opportunity to say a big heartfelt thank you to you for your continuing support to ICA this year. You and other ICA members are an integral part of our ICA family.  Without your support, there won’t be ICA. We remain firm with our commitment to support our members and the Chinese community going forward.

2020 has been a challenging year. Each of us have stories to tell that it has not been easy this year, whether it’s about losing our loved ones, a detrimental impact on our mental health, or disruption to your businesses.

Despite all the hardship, we should take stock and recognise our achievements so far. We should recognise our achievement in demonstrating our ability to adapt and be resilient in the most adverse situation. Many of us did not allow this pandemic to turn our lives into a complete halt. We have learnt new skills, new experiences and continue supporting each other through online social activities. I am grateful to ICA staff and volunteers for their efforts and perseverance.

2021 will definitely be a much better year. We can look to the future with hope and optimism. We can overcome any obstacles with this spirit of unity and support each other to adapt and be resilient.

ICA will continue to do more and help everyone to thrive in this situation. We will work towards making 2021 a fulfilling and meaningful year for our members and our community.

On behalf of our staff and Trustees, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Stay safe, and stay connected. We look forward to seeing you in 2021.

With the best wishes,

Chris
