文化推廣系列(1)：新春揮春工作坊

農曆新年是華人的重要節日，家家戶戶均喜歡張貼寫有祝賀詞的揮春，寓意新年吉祥、進步，迎春接福。揮春是一種在新春和立春時使用的傳統裝飾物，把賀年的吉利字詞用漂亮的書法，寫在紙上而成，一般是貼在牆、門之上，在華人社會、朝鮮半島和越南，每逢過年人們都會貼春聯，除了增加節日的喜慶氣氛，也沿襲桃符信仰，有為新年祈福、辟邪的寓意本中心將舉辦新春揮春工作坊，招募有興趣會員及社區人士學習書寫揮春，並於農曆新年前送出，為華人家庭添上新春氣氛。有關活動詳情如下：

Promoting Chinese Cultural Series(1): Workshop for Chinese New Year Huai Chun

Lunar New Year is an important festival among Chinese community, and families might demonstrate Huai Chun in the household as celebration, to wish good luck and good start in the new year. Fai chun is a traditional decoration that is frequently used during Chinese New Year. People put fai chun in the doorways to create jubilant festive atmosphere since the phrases written on it means good luck and prosperity. Huai chun not only exist in China, but also in Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Vietnam. ICA is going to organize a workshop for CNY Huai Chun. Members or local residents might register the event to learn how to draw Huai Chun and donate as a gift to Chinese families. Program details as below:
