[Hongkongers’ New Year Market in London]

Come visit the Islington Chinese Association (ICA) on 19th of February and sample the authentic tastes of Hong Kong.

ICA will host a Lunar New Year Market next Saturday, 19th February 2022. Dedicated to showcasing the cultures and traditions of Hong Kong people, the event will feature an array of stalls selling snacks, Hong Kong-style milk tea, French desserts, Chinese dishes, books and hand-made souvenirs with special meanings to Hong Kong people. There will be exhibitions on the art of Chinese tea, Chinese knot buttons, Fai Chun Chinese calligraphy, a Lennon Wall of New Year blessings and sharing of organic backyard farming in the Hong Kong way. Performances will include lion dance, Cantonese songs singing, Chinese dancing, to name a few. Don’t forget to collect your goody bag either, as our first 100 newly registered members will receive one!

The event will mark the launch of our Hong Kong British National (Overseas) Welcome Programme funded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities.
