Recreational table tennis – Come out to play  Find playmates for table tennis on weekday afternoons generally 1.00 – 6:00 pm   from Monday to Friday. We offer table tennis coaching 6.00 – 9.00pm

太極班

太極健康班 Tai Chi and Health (逄星期二 Every Tuesday 11:30 am – 12:30 pm)

導師 Tutor ﹕陳麗儀 Lala Chan

課程著重太極拳原理,提高手腳、呼吸的整體協調,以增強體能。學習放鬆精神身體,並以柔軟的熱身運動,增強柔韌性、培養健康體質。

Emphasis on the key principles of Tai Chi to improve coordination, strengthen physical capability and increase energy. Participants will also learn how to let go – relieve stress, improve suppleness, and enhance self-esteem.

武當丹劍 Wudang Taiji sword (逄星期四 Every Thursday 10:30 am – 11:30 pm)

武當丹劍以太極陰陽為核心,動作圓轉連貫、以柔化剛、以意領劍。套路結合武當太極劍的步法、身法與劍勢,如雲手、纏絲、燕子抄水等,既輕靈柔和,又包含內家武術的點刺與快劈。練習有助提升柔韌度、平衡及專注力,是強身養生、陶冶性情的理想選擇,適合各個年齡層。

The Wudang Taiji Sword follows the Taiji principles of Yin and Yang, featuring smooth, circular, and continuous movements led by intention and breath. The routine blends soft Taiji sword techniques with sharper internal martial arts elements such as thrusts and quick cuts. It enhances flexibility, balance, and focus, making it an ideal practice for health, grace, and inner calm—suitable for all ages.

太極功夫扇融合太極、武術與舞蹈元素,以扇代劍,動作舒展大方、剛柔並濟。套路包含太極拳、太極劍的雲手、轉腰、纏絲等動作,同時加入長拳與南拳的有力開合及拍扇節奏,動作富節奏感又易學易練。練習有助增強柔韌度、協調性與心肺功能,是中老年朋友健體養生、培養興趣的理想選擇。

The Kung Fu Fan blends elements of Taiji, martial arts, and dance, using the fan as a substitute for the sword. Movements are expressive and balanced with both softness and strength, featuring Taiji hand forms, waist turns, circular motions, and powerful long-fist-style openings and fan snaps. It is rhythmic, enjoyable to learn, and accessible for all levels. Practicing the Kung Fu Fan improves flexibility, coordination, and stamina, making it an excellent activity for health, enjoyment, and lifelong fitness.

舞獅隊


訓練為我們在農曆新年和其他各種節日期間表演做好準備。表演分為幾個部分 – 喚醒昏睡的獅子、採青、勝利的鞠躬。打鼓、鑼和鈸一起演奏配合舞獅的節奏,動作和情緒。

The practice will prepare us to perform during Chinese New Year and o n various other lunar festivals. The performance is divided into several sections – awakening the sleepy lion, the lion searching for the lettuce, and the discovery of the greens, eating, triumph and bowing. The dance is performed in concert with drum, gong and cymbal beats, with loudness and tempo to match the movements and mood of the lion according to the sections of the dance.

曲藝社由一班粵曲愛好者組成,籍此增進對粵曲的理解和欣賞,互雙鼓勵歌唱技巧,並希望藉着活動保持會員間的身心健康。活動於逢星期六下午舉行;  詳情請聯絡李蔡建芬 07880 732 948。

Cantonese Opera with live music accompaniment meets on Saturday afternoons. Our aim is to preserve and promote the culture of Cantonese opera in London and to develop a greater understanding and appreciation of this art form.
