ICA資訊：拆解「祈福黨」騙局 ICA Alert: Unravelling the “Blessing Gangs” Scam

最近「祈福黨」(或稱「迷魂黨」) 在英國多個華人聚居地方頻頻出沒犯罪，長者一不小心不單招致財物損失，身心亦大受打擊。有鑑於此，我們邀請到倫敦大都市警察廳轄下的中國華人及東南亞職員協會警務人員，於11月28日 (星期二) 下午1:30前來ICA，為我們講解匪徒犯罪手法、警方如何處理，並且解答出席者提問。參加者如有其他關於英國治安或罪案問題，歡迎透過 Google form 或 WhatsApp 提出，我們會轉達警方；當然，由於時間限制，不一定所有提出問題都能解答或回應。

We are deeply concerned about the recent surge in criminal activities perpetrated by “Blessing Gangs” (or “Vertigo Gangs”) in Chinese neighbourhoods across the UK. These crimes have not only resulted in substantial property losses but have also inflicted severe physical and psychological harm on our elderly population. In light of these distressing events, we have taken proactive measures to address this issue. We are pleased to announce that the Chinese and South East Asian Staff Association of the Metropolitan Police will be joining us at the ICA on 28 November (Tuesday) at 1:30 pm. They will provide an insightful presentation on the criminal strategies employed by these gangs, share valuable information about police intervention methods, and engage in a question and answer session with attendees. If you have any other questions regarding policing or crime in the UK, please do not hesitate to ask us using the Google form or WhatsApp. We will make sure to forward your inquiries to the police. However, please note that due to time limitations, we may not be able to answer or respond to all of the questions raised.
