7月27日的「唐滌生作品欣賞」正是以講座形式，讓大家認識著名粵劇劇作家唐滌生的生平事蹟，內容亦包括名作賞析以及經典名曲節錄共賞。對喜愛中華文化、粵曲藝術的你實在是不容錯過的週末好節目！
The Islington Cantonese Opera Group is dedicated to promoting Cantonese opera and Chinese culture. In addition to previously held Cantonese opera tea gathering, concert, and regular free Cantonese opera appreciation on Saturdays, we also hope to organise lectures or sharing sessions to allow the public to understand and appreciate Cantonese opera culture from different perspectives.
The “Appreciation of Tik Sang Tong’s Works” on 27 July will be in the form of a lecture, allowing everyone to learn about the life and achievements of the famous Cantonese opera playwright Tik Sang Tong. The content will also include appreciation of his renowned works and excerpts of classic arias. This is a must-attend weekend event for those who love Chinese culture and Cantonese opera art!
