Bloomsbury 在17-19世紀時逐步發展，文化滙萃，特別以文學及醫藥為主軸，名師輩出。
著名學府UCL (University College London) 於1836年在此建校，為高等教育普及化和平權當先鋒，率先招收女生。發起功利主義的哲學家Jeremy Bentham 乃籌辦 UCL 發起人之一。
Bloomsbury 地靈人傑，在1907-1930 期間吸引了不少知識份子、作家、畫家、哲學家及文化界精英以 Bloomsbury 為家，經常互相往來聚會，被稱為 Bloomsbury Group。著名女作家 Virginia Woolf 夫婦，她妹妹及兄弟均是當中的活躍份子。
Henry Wellcome 是一位成功的藥劑商人，憑著他的捐獻，醫藥科研得以進一步發展，相關的文獻及文物亦有系統地保留，Wellcome Collection 也設館於Bloomsbury ｡
這次活動我們將會一同遊走，重踏當年多位大師的足跡。
Bloomsbury gradually developed during the 17th to 19th centuries, becoming a hub of culture, particularly focusing on literature and medicine, with many renowned masters emerging.
The prestigious institution UCL (University College London) was founded in 1836, pioneering the democratization of higher education and equal rights by admitting female students. Philosopher Jeremy Bentham, a proponent of utilitarianism, was one of the founders of UCL.
Bloomsbury, rich in talent and intellect, attracted numerous intellectuals, writers, artists, philosophers, and cultural elites from 1907 to 1930. They made Bloomsbury their home, frequently gathering and socializing, forming what became known as the Bloomsbury Group. The prominent writer Virginia Woolf and her family were active members of this group.
Henry Wellcome, a successful pharmaceutical businessman, contributed significantly to the advancement of medical research through his donations. He systematically preserved related documents and artifacts, and the Wellcome Collection is also housed in Bloomsbury.
During this event, we will walk together, retracing the footsteps of many masters from that era.
