Islington Chinese Association 40th Anniversary Logo Design Competition

為慶祝依士靈頓華人協會（Islington Chinese Association）成立40週年，本會誠邀社區人士參加40週年會徽設計比賽，以創意展現社區精神及中心發展歷程。

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Islington Chinese Association, we warmly invite members of the community to participate in our 40th Anniversary Logo Design Competition. Through creative design, participants are encouraged to showcase the spirit of the community and reflect the development journey of our centre.

一、比賽日期

2026年3月12日 – 2026年4月10日

所有參賽作品須於 2026年4月10日晚上11:59前提交。

1. Competition Period

12 March 2026 – 10 April 2026

All entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm on 10 April 2026.

二、參賽資格

  • 比賽歡迎所有社區人士參加
  • 每位參賽者最多可提交 2 份作品

2. Eligibility

The competition is open to all members of the community.

Each participant may submit up to two entries.

三、作品要求

  1. 作品必須為原創設計，未曾公開發表或用於其他比賽。
  2. 設計如包含依士靈頓華人協會提供的機構名稱樣板為佳。
  3. 設計應能反映以下元素：
    • 社區連結與共融
    • 協會成立 40 週年的意義
  4. 作品可以數碼設計或手繪形式提交。

3. Design Requirements

All submissions must be original designs that have not been previously published or used in other competitions.

Designs are encouraged to incorporate the official name template of the Islington Chinese Association, if possible.

The design should reflect the following elements:

  • Community connection and inclusion
  • The significance of the 40th anniversary of the Association

Entries may be submitted as digital designs or hand-drawn artwork.

四、提交方式 Submission Method

  1. 手繪形式交回中心，並填寫報名表

五、評分標準

評審將根據以下準則評分：

  1. 創意與原創性 (30%) — 設計是否具創意並能展現獨特構思。
  2. 主題表達 (25%) — 作品是否能反映社區精神及40週年意義。
  3. 設計美感 (20%) — 設計是否清晰、美觀並具有良好的視覺效果。
  4. 實用性 (15%) — Logo 是否適合用於不同宣傳用途（如海報、網站、社交媒體等）。
  5. 符合要求 (10%) — 是否符合比賽規則。

5. Judging Criteria

Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Creativity and Originality (30%)
    Whether the design demonstrates creativity and unique ideas.
  2. Relevance to the Theme (25%)
    Whether the design reflects community spirit and the significance of the 40th anniversary.
  3. Aesthetic Quality (20%)
    Whether the design is clear, visually appealing, and well-presented.
  4. Practical Use (15%)
    Whether the logo is suitable for different promotional purposes (e.g. posters, websites, social media).
  5. Compliance with Requirements (10%)
    Whether the submission meets the competition guidelines.

六、獎項

冠軍作品：

  • 兩位免費出席依士靈頓華人協會40週年慶祝午宴
  • 得獎作品將有機會成為本會未來活動及宣傳使用的設計元素

6. Prize

Champion Award:

  • Two complimentary seats at the Islington Chinese Association 40th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon
  • The winning design may be used as a design element for future events and promotional materials of the Association

七、版權及使用權

  • 得獎作品的使用權將歸依士靈頓華人協會所有。
  • 本會保留對得獎作品作適當修改及用於宣傳、活動或出版物的權利。
  • 參賽者仍保留其設計署名權。

7. Copyright and Usage Rights

  • The usage rights of the winning design will belong to the Islington Chinese Association.
  • The Association reserves the right to modify the winning design and use it for promotion, events, or publications.
  • The designer will retain the right to be credited as the creator of the design.

八、其他事項

  • 評審結果為最終決定。
  • 如有任何爭議，依士靈頓華人協會保留最終決定權。
  • 參賽即表示同意本比賽規則。

8. Additional Information

  • The decision of the judging panel is final.
  • In case of any disputes, the Islington Chinese Association reserves the right of final decision.
  • By submitting an entry, participants agree to the rules and regulations of this competition.
