以電話慰問長者是「活出豐采」友伴同行項目的主要服務之一。我們希望動員義工，以電話聯繫因身體狀況或其他原因較少出席ICA活動的會員/前會員。尤其是冬天臨近，我們希望藉著真摯的問候和關懷，向長者送出一份暖暖的心意。為讓義工們掌握基本技巧，我們特別邀請了資深義工區翠兒女士與大家分享「電話慰問技巧」。分享會內容包括：1) 電話慰問的技巧；2) 義工的態度；3) 角色扮演；及4) 個人分享。重點是使義工們能掌握基本技巧，輕鬆和認真去運用，從而幫助需要幫助的人。Giving concern calls to our older friends is one of the major befriending services under our “Thriving Beats Surviving (TBS)” project. 格林尼治世界遺產景區 (Maritime Greenwich) 位於倫敦東南面，是泰晤士河以南的歷史古鎮，於1997年被列入世界遺產名錄之內，包括六大景點：舊皇家海軍學院、皇后之屋、國立海事博物館、皇家天文台、格林尼治市場及卡蒂薩克號帆船。Located in south-east London, the historic town south of the River Thames was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1997 and includes six major attractions: Old Royal Naval College, Queen’s House, National Maritime Museum, Royal Observatory, Greenwich Market and Cutty Sark.
